Late winter

There is so much to do and so little space for everything! That is the story every spring before we can plant the seedlings out into the fields. The seeds have been planted, the seedlings are growing. The bulbs and plants are on their way.

This is the time of year when what is done (or not done), affects what will bloom in late May and June. It pays to be organized!

Right now Mother Nature is blowing snow out there in a later than usual snow storm. But under the snow the perennials are slowly waking up, and the Daffodils are poking their leaves up for a little look around. The spring birds arrived early this year, and it's a pleasure to hear them sing.

Soon we will be out every day planting!
